A growing ecosystem

Life keeps moving.

Pond life
Guppies—

Growth, courtship, and live births.

Shrimp—

Egg clutches, hatchlings, and young.

New life—

Population changes come from the model.

Growth and breeding follow real elapsed time. Live light follows Eastern time. Progress stays in this browser, separate from the original pond.

Local pond memory.

Choose a view above, drag to look around, or tap the water for a ripple. More controls keeps every camera, light, pump and export. Underwater: W A S D to swim.

Site motion is reduced. Run simulation starts pond movement; Pause stops it. Camera changes remain reduced.

Adapted from my Living Pond: the original liner, bed, planter fountain, plants, and aquatic residents. The model is illustrative; dimensions and behavior remain estimates.

Life beneath the surface.

Guppies and plecos, honey gouramis, shrimp, crawfish, ramshorn snails, and Larry. Explore the water from above, then move closer to see the smaller details.
